Congratulations to the Step Team for winning the 2010 Homecoming Step Show!! 8 YEARS IN A ROW!! Alpha Xi chapter is off to a great start. For the month of September, the chapter participated in Beta Delta chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.’s ‘Fire and Ice’ forum. The forum featured two of our very own as panelists: Soror Brandy Wright and Soror Chanel Lincoln. The ladies of Alpha Xi also participated in Truth Hall’s Real Talk program offering advice to the residents of Truth Hall on how to carry themselves as ladies and what is expected of them as a student.
‘Inside Out’ was our first Chat and Chew and it was a great success. Topics discussed ranged from appropriate dress to self-esteem by a panel with strong valued opinions and 180 guests were in attendance. The first Highway Clean Up took place on September 25th, Jolly Acres started up this month and will take place on every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.
